Tim Newcomb

Operating as Newcomb Studios, I have concentrated on the design and production of publications ranging from books and magazines to annual reports, catalogs, and brochures for clients worldwide. I am also a cartoonist, having had editorial and illustrative cartoons printed in newspapers including The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times, to magazines including Newsweek, Forbes, and Vermont Life.  I received a first place award for best regional political cartoon from the New England Press Association.

My professional career began on New York City’s Madison Avenue as assistant art director for Kenyon & Eckhardt Advertising, where I helped illustrate, design, and produce ads for clients including Ford Motor Company, Helena Rubenstein, Major League Baseball, Pabst Beer and many others. My primary account was Lincoln Continental.

Following that, I was an art director at Forbes Magazine, helping to win a first place award for best-redesigned national magazine.
